Overview
If you're looking to replace the current admin managing your CircleCI account, you'll need to become an admin yourself first. Once you have admin access, you will be granted the necessary permissions to manage both the account and the billing side of things.
What Admins Can Manage
Organization admins have exclusive access to:
- Edit billing information
- Update credit card details
- Adjust monthly credit subscriptions
- Modify the billing email address
- Cancel subscriptions
Becoming an Admin
To manage billing and account settings, you must have administrative privileges on both your Version Control System (VCS) and CircleCI. Here's what you need to know:
- You must be an organization admin on the VCS to access the CircleCI UI and billing portal. To find out if you are the admin on the account, please visit this article: Am I an organization admin?
- You can find the list of admins for your account by following these instructions: How do I find my org admins?
To set up admin access:

Updating Account Information
Credit Card Updates
All credit card updates must be made directly by account admins. Please visit this article: Update Credit Card
Company Address
To update your company address:
- Log in to the CircleCI UI
- Navigate to the Billing tab
- Select Payment Details
- Update your address information
Company Name Changes
To change your company name create a support ticket.
