If you've accumulated a large block of credits on your CircleCI Performance plan over time, you may be wondering how to use them effectively before they expire. Here are some strategies to help you manage your credits and get the most out of your CircleCI subscription.

Understanding CircleCI Credits

CircleCI uses a credit-based system for its Performance plan. Credits are valid for one year from their purchase date, and the system always uses the oldest credits first to prevent expiration Frequently Asked Credit Questions.

Optimizing Your Credit Package

If you find yourself with an excess of credits, you can adjust your monthly credit package to the minimum while still keeping your Performance plan active. Here's how:

1. Only account administrators can make changes to the credit package.

4. Look for the "Edit" or pen icon to modify your credit package.
