Overview
When a child organization is linked to a parent organization’s shared plan, it inherits the parent plan’s feature gates — the same entitlements and limits as the parent, not the child org’s standalone plan tier.
For Example: Audit Log Request Limits
Audit log daily request limits follow the parent plan:
| Parent plan | Daily audit log requests (per org) |
|---|---|
Free |
1 |
Paid |
3 |
So if a child org is linked to a paid parent plan, it gets 3 requests per day, not the free-plan limit of 1 — even though the child org may still show as “Free” in some UI views.
Limits are per organization, not pooled across the shared plan. Each linked org has its own independent quota.
