Overview

CircleCI does not guarantee feature parity between our cloud-hosted platform (circleci.com) and self-hosted CircleCI Server instances, and we do not have plans to ensure identical features across both offerings. Each platform is developed and maintained independently, with features prioritized based on the specific needs, infrastructure requirements, and architectural constraints of each environment.

Cloud features may be released, updated, or deprecated without corresponding changes to Server, and vice versa. When evaluating CircleCI Server for your organization, we recommend that you review the current feature set and roadmap specific to the Server product rather than assuming cloud features will be available.
