Overview
CircleCI assigns a unique identifier, known as the Project ID, to every project. This Project ID is crucial for various tasks and settings, like working with APIs, configuring workflows, and more. This guide will walk you through how to locate the Project ID for your CircleCI project within your project settings.
Finding your Project ID
Step 1: Log in to CircleCI
Begin by logging into your CircleCI account. After entering your login credentials, you'll be taken to the CircleCI dashboard.
Step 2: Select your Organization
On the dashboard, you'll see a list of organizations you have access to on the left-hand side. Click on the organization name that contains the project you're interested in.
Step 3: Choose your Project
Once you're in the selected organization, you'll see a list of projects. Click on the project for which you want to find the Project ID.
Step 4: Navigate to Project Settings
After selecting your project, you'll be directed to the project's detail page. Click on the "Project Settings" button in the top-right corner of the page. This is where you can view and manage various configurations and settings for your project.
Step 5: Locate Project ID
Inside the Project Settings, your Project ID is displayed as part of the project information.
