Troubleshooting Gitlab POST api: "message": "An internal server error occurred."

If you are using a Gitlab account you will find that when using the CircleCI if you use API requests which use a POST API request you will see the error "message": "An internal server error occurred."

This is not currently supported by CircleCI but our team is aware of this limitation and it will be resolved in the future.
