When workflows wait on a serial group, the lock is held by one job, the serial group start job (the job with the key icon). Use these steps to find it.

In the CircleCI web app, open a workflow that is waiting on the serial group.

Select the waiting serial group start job (the key icon).

In the side panel, select View job. This opens the job that currently holds the lock.
